Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe

Another vacation tacked onto the back of a San Francisco business trip – we took advantage and headed off to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, the Sequoia National Forest and… Yosemite where we hiked 10 miles up a waterfall trail and were so drenched by the time we got to the top we had to wring our clothes out and leave them to dry on the bushes whilst we recovered from the hike praying that nobody else made it to the top at the same time as us! 😉

We also managed to stagger to the base of Half Dome before expiring! 🙂   …and Geoff fell asleep half-way through his first Gin and Tonic of the evening – a first! 😉
