It’s been a hectic month or so back and forwards to New England and Philly with art shows – here are some of the more fun and less work oriented moments where we actually had some time off – and let our hair down 😉

Philadelphia was fun as ever – the art show (in beautiful Rittenhouse Square Park 🙂 ) is always enhanced considerably by getting together with our old art show circuit friends, John and Bob. Unfortunately, too many delicious cocktails (and the obligatory anti histamine due to my inconvenient allergy to alcohol) culminated in me offering to share my hair with John who’s head was getting cold by the open window at dinner 😉 Perhaps not our best look but almost anything is hilariously funny after a few cocktails …… 😉

Onwards to NH to visit our best New England friends. Even without a few cocktails I couldn’t hold the camera in the correct position to get “tiny Geoffrey” sitting in Don and Sue’s hands – we invested way too much effort in trying to get it right – I’m still not sure why 😉 ….perhaps a cocktail may have helped the photographer in this instance after all ?? 😉 !

We had a fab day with D and S over on the MA coast in the impossibly cutetastic town of Rockport with its world famous iconic fish shack Motif number 1 – featured in most of the photos – sorry 😉 We wandered through the shops and galleries trying hard not to be tempted but, quite frankly, how many necklaces does one neck need?? 😉 and culminated in a giant lobster roll in a rather rustic fishmongers sitting by the harbor –followed later by a homemade ice cream in a roadside shack – it doesn’t get more New England perfect than that in fall 🙂

Short and sweet blog for a very short trip!
